System Annihilated: Furor
26/04/13 || gk
This is some pretty standard metalcore but wrapped up in a rough sound that cloaks the music in a toughness that is sort of appealing. However, once the novelty of the production wears off, the songs are all pretty standard modern metal with groove and owe a fair bit to American metal core bands and also some debt to Lamb of God. “Furor” isn’t bad and has a fair number of catchy grooves but it’s all been done before and done far better. If you like Lamb of God and God Forbid then chances are you’ll find something here to like. Otherwise, there’s really not a lot here to recommend and the songs get old really fast. It’s all just a bit faceless and lacks any real personality.
5/10: It’s all just a bit bland.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
